The City of Victoria has issued a variety of building permits covering both commercial and residential projects for the week of August 6, 2025. Among the commercial permits is a reroof permit for a project located at 4003 N Main St., which will cost approximately $118,000. This project has been issued to Jamal Adawin and Khaled Kazmi, and it will feature work done by MBH Group Inc and K&K Roof & Remodel LLC, with a permit fee of $692.
Two office permits have been issued, including one for 4503 Lilac Ln., at no cost to the applicant, Carlos Chapa, who will pay a fee of $40. Another office permit for 1902 John Stockbauer will incur a similar fee of $40 for Synergy Properties. Several no-project permits were also awarded, primarily related to maintenance and inspections, with a consistent cost of $40 for each.
A storage facility permit was issued for 2402 E Rio Grande St., which will also be free of charge, carrying a nominal fee of $40 for applicants Jennifer Mata and Isaiah Arvizu.

Demolition permits were also submitted for two properties: 2517 Mejia Rd. and 8103 N Navarro St., both with a $50 permit fee. Additionally, a detached accessory building permit was granted for 2509 N Wheeler St., carrying a cost of $100.
The city has processed four level foundation permits including one for 601 E Mistletoe Ave., valued at $130, and another for 104 Evan Cir., which holds a value of $140. These permits have a combined total of $550 in fees.
Three reroofing permits were granted as well, which included properties at 204 Andover, 204 Buckingham, and 705 Rosebud Ave., each charged a $120 fee, resulting in a total of $360 for reroofing projects.
