Finalist teams work with Trimble experts at the Westminster kickoff to test and refine integrations ahead of Demo Day.
Westminster, Colorado, August 16, 2025
The Trimble 0–60 Challenge selected 16 finalists from startups and developer teams building integrations for architecture, engineering, construction and asset lifecycle workflows. Finalists attended a two-day kickoff at Trimble’s Westminster headquarters to test integrations with hands-on support from Trimble experts, then will spend 12 weeks refining solutions for deeper platform integration. The program culminates with Demo Day at the Trimble Dimensions user conference in Las Vegas, where teams will present finished integrations. Top prizes include cash awards and all participants can publish integrations on the Trimble Marketplace. Separately, Trimble issued a security patch for an asset management product.
Trimble has named 16 finalists for its annual Trimble 0–60 Challenge, an accelerator program aimed at identifying and supporting startups, entrepreneurs and developers working in architecture, engineering, construction and asset lifecycle management. The program spotlights innovations that integrate with and extend Trimble’s open technology ecosystem and will culminate in a Demo Day at the Trimble Dimensions user conference in Las Vegas on November 10–12, 2025.
The selected companies took part in a two-day kickoff event at Trimble’s headquarters in Westminster, Colorado, where they received hands-on support from Trimble experts to test and advance their software integrations. Over the next 12 weeks, each finalist will continue refining solutions designed to solve critical customer pain points and improve workflows through tight integrations with Trimble platforms. The program ends with a Demo Day at Dimensions, where the first, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes. All participants will also be invited to offer their integrations on Trimble Marketplace, a primary entry point to Trimble’s developer ecosystem where users can discover verified extensions to Trimble solutions.
The challenge is organized in collaboration with Trimble Ventures, the company’s corporate venture arm that provides capital and industry expertise to early-stage teams. Trimble Ventures helps entrepreneurs refine technology and go-to-market approaches and aims to accelerate innovation across construction, transportation, geospatial and related sectors. Company leadership notes that many smaller firms lack the market reach and established connections necessary to scale; the 0–60 Challenge is designed to bridge that gap by offering technical help, strategic guidance and access to customer channels.
Finalists were chosen for breakthrough ideas that integrate with Trimble systems and unlock new opportunities by enhancing workflows. During the kickoff in Westminster, teams worked directly with Trimble engineers and product experts to test integrations against real product environments. For the remainder of the program, teams will focus on polishing functionality, reliability and customer-ready workflows that can be listed on Trimble Marketplace. Demo Day at Dimensions will provide a public stage for the finalists and a concentrated audience of buyers, partners and industry practitioners.
Trimble’s Westminster campus is a major U.S. hub for the company and supports several of its core market segments, including construction and geospatial. The company previously moved its headquarters to Westminster from Sunnyvale and maintains a Silicon Valley center for technology and innovation. Trimble describes its core technologies as positioning, modeling, connectivity and data analytics that connect digital and physical workflows to improve productivity and sustainability.
In related product news, Trimble issued a patch after investigating reports of third-party exploitation affecting certain versions of Trimble Cityworks, an asset management product used by local governments, utilities, airports and similar facilities. Trimble warned customers that some on-premises deployments may have overprivileged Internet Information Services identity permissions and advised that IIS should not be run with local or domain level administrative privileges on any site. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has added the vulnerability to its known exploited vulnerabilities catalog. Independent researchers noted that threat actors have used a range of tools in related activity, including frameworks and privilege-escalation variants, alongside reconnaissance scripts.
Additional industry context includes ongoing M&A and platform integrations across the sector, and a single sentence update that a global predictive procurement platform aligned with a major consulting firm to support its management consulting and supply chain practices.
Over the coming weeks, Trimble and Trimble Ventures will continue mentoring the finalists as they finalize integrations, user experience and deployment readiness ahead of the Las Vegas Demo Day. Attending Dimensions and Demo Day will give industry buyers and partners an opportunity to see new offerings that aim to reshape how built-environment projects are designed and executed.
