Notably affected flights include AI159 from Ahmedabad to London and AI180 from San Francisco to Mumbai, which faced multiple cancellations on June 17, 2025.
The recent turbulence in the sector has been exacerbated by heightened safety protocols implemented in the wake of the tragic Air India flight AI171 crash, which resulted in the loss of 241 lives.
