According to the survey, more than one-third (34%) of professionals in the construction and design fields are currently utilizing AI technology in their work. Respondents who engage with AI report an average time saving of over 3 hours per week, attributing this improvement to increased productivity, reduced manual tasks, and enhanced organizational efficiency. In monetary terms, the time saved through AI tools equates to more than $108,000 in annual productivity gains for each business.

66% of those surveyed believe that AI is on the brink of transforming the construction and design industry within the next five years. This widespread optimism is reflected in the attitudes toward AI tools specifically tailored for industry workflows, with nearly 60% of professionals reporting familiarity with such tools. The increasing trend of AI adoption is particularly visible in larger firms, where 50% of businesses with over 10 employees are employing AI technologies.
